Abstract

본 발명은 배속재생을 위한 디스크포맷 및 이를 이용한 동화상데이타의 배속재생방법 및 그 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 I-픽쳐의 기록 영역에 다음 I-픽쳐들의 위치데이타를 포함하는 기록포맷을 갖는 디스크를 이용한다. 본 발명은 이와 같은 디스크에 기록된 동화상데이타를 배속재생할때, 배속단위에 근거하여 타이머를 기설정한 대기시간으로 설정하고, 상술한 위치데이타를 참조하여 다음 재생할 I-픽쳐의 위치로 건너뛴다. 그리고 건너뛴 위치에서 상술한 대기시간동안 대기한 후 재생을 시작하여 I-픽쳐를 출력시킨다. 따라서, 본 발명은 정확한 의미에서의 배속재생을 실현할 수 있도록 하며, 배속재생시 보다 많은 I-픽쳐를 출력하므로써 내용전개에 무리가 없는 자연스러운 화면이 되도록 하는 효과를 가져온다.The present invention relates to a disc format for double speed reproduction, a double speed reproduction method for moving picture data using the same, and an apparatus thereof.
