Abstract
본 발명은 자동차의 배기파이프에 설치되는 촉매변환기에 내장된 촉매가 소결되는 것을 방지할 수 있도록 하는 자동차의 촉매변환기 촉매소결 방지구조에 관한 것으로, 종래에 있어서는 연료 및 오일의 성분이 촉매변환기의 촉매에 축적되어 있다가 후속 배기가스에 의해 급작 연소를 일으키게 되고, 이로 인한 과열로 인해 촉매가 소결되어 버리는 문제가 있었던 바,촉매변환기(3)의 전방에 위치하는 배기파이프(2)의 내부에 와이어메시(4)를 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명에 의하면 탄화수소가 촉매 변환기(3)를 통과하기 전에 배기파이프(2)와이어메시(4)에서 여과될 수 있게 되므로 탄화수소의 급작스런 연소로 인한 촉매의 소결을 방지할 수 있게 된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
