Abstract
본 발명은 차량에 구비되는 광파이버를 이용한 연료탱크의 연료잔량 측정장치에 관한 것으로, 일반적으로 기존의 차량용 연료잔량 표시장치는 차량의 연료가 소모됨에 따라 연료탱크(1)내의 뜨개(2)가 상기 연료탱크(1)내에서 일정한 높이까지만 부침되어 연료량부족이 한계치에 이르게 되면 단지 차량의 연료잔량표시 게이지(4)에 경고등만을 온(ON)시킴으로 인해 운전자가 정량적인 연료잔량상태를 파악하지 못하는 문제점을 해소하기 위하여, 차량용 연료탱크(1)의 내측 소정부위에 광송신부(5) 및 광수신부(6)를 가진 액면레벨센서부(7)를 구비하여 상기 연료탱크(1)내에 채워지는 연료량의 잔량정도를 감지한 후 상기 광수신부(6)측 포토다이오드(9)로부터 소정의 전기신호를 차량용 계기판의 연료잔량표시 디스플레이어에 보내 줌으로써 운전자에게 현재의 연료탱크(1)내 연료잔량을 알려줄 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring fuel residual amount of a fuel tank using an optical fiber provided in a vehicle.
