Abstract
본 발명은 와이어 전극과 피가공물이 접촉되면 이를 감지하여 상기 와이어 전극에 인가되는 방전 전압을 차단함과 동시에 상기 와이어 전극을 상기 피가공물로부터 격리시키는 와이어 방전 가공기의 단선방지 장치에 관한 것으로서, 와이어 전극과 피가공물 사이에 방전 전압이 인가되는 도중에도 상기 와이어 전극과 피가공물 사이의 전압을 검출할 수 있고, 상기 검출 전압에 따라 방전용 스위치를 온/오프시킴으로 상기 와이어 전극에 인가되는 충전용 콘덴서의 방전 전업을 도통 또는 차단시킬 수 있어, 보다 안정적이고 경제적이며 효율적인 방전가공을 수행할 수 있고, 가공 속도가 향상됨과 아울러 와이어의 단선이 예방되는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a wire disconnection preventing device of a wire discharge processor which detects a contact between a wire electrode and a workpiece, cuts off a discharge voltage applied to the wire electrode, and simultaneously isolates the wire electrode from the workpiece.
