본 발명은 세라믹 코어를 재사용가능케 함과 동시에 캠샤프트의 중공부 변형을 방지할 수 있는, 중공 캠샤프트의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 탕도(11), 게이트(12)를 갖는 상부금형(10) 및 하부금형(20)으로 형성하고, 상,하부금형(10)(20)사이에 세라믹 코어(40)를 설치하며, 또한 세라믹 코어(40)의 외주면에 레진 코티드 샌드(50)를 피복하고, 이 상태에서 탕도(11) 및 게이트(12)를 통해 용탕을 주입하여 상, 하부금형(10)(20) 사이에서 중공 캠샤프트(30)가 성형되도록 하되, 용탕의 주입온도를 1,350℃정도로 유지하며, 아울러 용탕이 주입되면서 레진 코티드 샌드(50)가 용융, 소멸된 다음, 세라믹 코어(40)를 분리함과 동시에 중공부(31)를 갖는 중공 캠샤프트(30)의 제품을 성형하도록 된 것이다.The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a hollow camshaft that can make a ceramic core reusable and prevent deformation of a hollow portion of a camshaft, and includes an upper mold (10) having a runway (11) and a gate (12).
