본 발명은 디지털 이동통신망 서비스 제어점의 과부하 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 그 특징은 디지털 이동통신망 서비스 제어점의 과부하 제어방법에 있어서, 네트워크 인터페이스로부터 호 처리 요구 메시지를 가져오는 제 1 과정과 초당 입력 메시지 수가 양수인지 판단하는 제 2 과정과 상기 제 2 과정에서 양수라고 판단되면, 상기 호 처리 요구 메시지를 호 처리 응용 프로그램에 보내는 제 3 과정 및 상기 제 2 과정에서 양수가 아니라고 판단되면, 상기 호 처리 요구 메시지를 폐기하는 제 4 과정을 포함하는 데에 있으므로, 그 효과는 소량의 제어자료를 사용하여 시스템의 입력인 호처리 요구 메시지를 초당 제한량 이하로 유지하고 초과분의 메시지는 차단함으로써 과부하 상황에서 시스템을 보호하여 시스템의 안정성을 확보할 수 있으므로 트래픽 폭주시 서비스 불능으로 인한 피해가 치명적인 제난시 통신 시스템이나 대규모의 가입자를 수용하게 될 PCS, UPT 등의 서비스에 적합하다.The present invention relates to an overload control method for a digital mobile communication network service control point.
