Abstract
본 발명은 FED(Field Emission Display) 용 스페이서(Spacer)와 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 감광성 글라스기판을 식각하여 제조되는 FED용 스페이서와 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, FED의 캐소드와 에노우드 사이에 설치되어 캐소드와 에노드가 소정의 거리를 유지시키는 스페이서에 있어서, FED의 한 픽셀의 한폭의 넓이에 대응하여 한개 이상의 격벽이 형성된 제1글라스와, 상기 픽셀의 다른 한 폭의 넓이에 대응하여 한개 이상의 격벽이 형성된 제2글라스로 구성되며, 상기 제1글라스와 제2글라스를 상호 교차시킨 상태에서 결합하여 상기 픽셀의 넓이에 대응하는 스페이서가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.The present invention relates to a spacer for a field emission display (FED) and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a spacer for the FED manufactured by etching a photosensitive glass substrate and a method of manufacturing the same.
