본 발명은 텔레비전 수상기와 퍼스널 컴퓨터의 모니터로 겸용하여 사용되는 액정표시 장치에 있어서 텔레비젼 수상기와 퍼스널 컴퓨터 모니터로 전환시 각각의 모드에 적합한 액정표시를 할 수 있도록 화면을 제어하는 장치에 관한 것으로서, 비디오 입력신호를 RGB신호로 변환시키는 복조부; 상기 복조부로부터 출력된 비디오 입력신호와 퍼스널 컴퓨터로의 입력신호를 절환선택하는 스위칭부; 상기 스위칭부에서 선택된 신호의 이득을 조정하는 이득 조정부; 상기 이득 조정부로부터 출력된 신호를 디지털로 변환시키는 A/D변환부; 상기 A/D변환부로부터 출력된 신호의 콘트라스트와 브라이트를 텔레비젼 수상기로 사용될 때와 퍼스널 컴퓨터로 사용될 때를 구별하여 조정하는 콘트라스트/브라이트 조정부; 상기 RGB복조부, 스위칭부 및 콘트라스트/ 브라이트 조정부를 제어하는 마이크로 프로세서; 및 상기 마이크로 프로세서의 데이터를 저장하는 ROM를 포함한다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
