본 발명은 사용자가 특정 방송 프로그램을 방송전에 미리 설정하게 되면 방송국으로부터 송출되는 KBPS(Korea Broadcast Program Service) 데이터신호를 근거로 프로그램 시작시각에 맞춰 해당 채널로 자동 채널전환하도록 된 프로그램 예약에 의한 채널 자동 전환기능을 갖춘 텔레비전 수상기에 관한 것으로, 시청채널 선국을 위한 제1튜너와, 부화면 및 KBPS코드검색을 위한 제2튜너, 장치전반을 제어하는 제어부를 구비한 2-튜너 텔레비전 수상기에 있어서; 사용자가 예약하고자 하는 특정 프로그램에 대한 프로그램 데이터를 입력 설정하기 위한 예약프로그램 선택수단과, 이 예약프로그램 선택수단에 의해 선택된 프로그램데이터를 저장하는 프로그램설정부, 상기 제2튜너에 의해 검색되는 방송신호로부터 KBPS코드 데이터를 검출해내는 KBPS 디코더부, 및 이 KBPS 디코더부에서 검출된 KBPS 코드가 상기 프로그램설정부에 저장되어 있는 코드데이터가 동일한 경우 제1레벨의 검지신호를 출력하는 프로그램판정부를 포함하여 구성되고, 상기 제어부는 이 프로그램판정부로부터 출력되는 검지신호의 레벨을 근거로 상기 제1튜너의 시청채널 선국을 제어하도록 된 것을 특징으로 한다.According to the present invention, when a user presets a specific broadcast program before broadcasting, the channel is automatically changed by program reservation to automatically switch to the corresponding channel at the start time of the program based on the KBPS (Korea Broadcast Program Service) data signal transmitted from the broadcasting station.
