본 발명은 다수개의 키로 구성되어 사용자 원하는 동작을 수행하기 위한 키신호를 인가하는 키입력부, 테이프에 피사체에 대응하는 비디오 신호를 기록하거나 테이프에 기록된 비디오 신호를 재생하는 기록 및 재생부와 피사체에 대응한 비디오 신호를 출력하는 촬상부를 구비한 캠코더에 있어서 상기 브이씨알의 전반적인 동작을 제어하는며 상기 키입력부의 키신호에 따라 상기 캠코더의 모드를 기록 모드 또는 재생모드로 전환시키는 제어부와 상기 캠코더가 재생모드일 경우 상기 기록 및 재생부에서 재생된 비디오 신호에서 움직임을 검출하고 상기 캠코더가 기록 모드일 경우 상기 촬상부에서 출력된 피사체 대응하는 비디오 신호에서 움직임을 검출하여 움직임이 검출되면 상기 제어부에 하이 신호를 인가하고 움직임이 검출되지 않으면 상기 제어부에 로우 신호를 인가하는 움직임 검출부를 구비한다. 따라서 본 발명은 캠코더가 기록 및 재생 모드에서 촬상부에서 제공된 피사체에 대응하는 비디오 신호와 테이프에 기록된 비디오 신호중에서 움직임을 검출하여 기록 및 재생부의 동작을 제어하므로 사용자의 오동작으로 인하여 불필요한 장면이 테이프에 기록되지 않고 재생도중 테이프에 비디오 신호가 기록되지 않는 구간을 자동으로 검출할 수 있다.The present invention comprises a key input unit comprising a plurality of keys for applying a key signal for performing a user desired operation, a recording and reproducing unit for recording a video signal corresponding to a subject on a tape or reproducing a video signal recorded on a tape.
