본 발명은 지문과 집적회로(IC)카드를 이용한 본인 판별 방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 집적회로(IC)카드의 등록자 이외의 사람이 불법으로 카드사용을 방지되는 장치의 방법에 관한 것이다. 카메라, 프리즘, 반사경등을 취부하여 카드사용자의 지문이 입력되는 장치인 광학 지문 입력기(10)에서 지문입력과 엔티에스씨(NTSC)신호를 디지탈로 영상정보로 변환케하는 영상처리기(20)로 인해 지문의 특징점을 추출하고 데이타를 얻는 중앙처리장치(30)로부터 집적회로(IC)카드에 등록되어 지문 특징점 데이타를 얻게되는 카드리더기(50)와 최초삽입부터 사용자 지문입력 및 결과까지 일괄적으로 표시되는 표시장치(40)와 본인 판별결과를 전송 또는 집적회로(IC)카드 내부의 등록된 지문 데이타 이외의 지문과 비교시 지문 특징점 정보가 전송되는 통신장치(60)를 구비하여 카드 등록자 이외의 카드 불법도용을 방지하는 장치를 구성하여 카드의 등록자 지문과 카드 사용자의 지문비교로 확실한 신원조회가 이루어지며 카드의 도용 문제에 적극 대응할 수 있으며 특정지역 출입통제에 사용할 수 있다. 또한 보안을 유지하여 비밀 자료를 저장하기 위해 특정기구로 사용하려는 것을 제한 할 수 있는 효과를 제공 받는다.The present invention relates to a personal identification method using a fingerprint and an integrated circuit (IC) card, and more particularly, to a method of an apparatus in which a person other than the registrant of the integrated circuit (IC) card is illegally prevented from using the card.
