Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
본 발명은 하드디스크 드라이브의 CSS 특성 개선을 위한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
본 발명은 CSS존에서의 헤드 Skew각도가 제로에 근접하도록 하여 CSS 특성이 강화되도록 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드/디스크 장치를 제공함에 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은 통상의 하드디스크 드라이브에 있어서, 디스크의 트랙 배치를 트랙 간이 거리가 일정하게 형성되도록 등간격(Equi-distance)로 배치하는 것이 아닌, 헤드슬라이더가 일정 각도로 이동할 수 있도록 디스크의 트랙을 등가(Equi-angle)으로 배치되도록 형성한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
본 발명은 디스크의 트랙 배치를 등거리 배치가 아닌 등각 배치로 해 줌으로서 디스크의 외주부분에서 Skew각이 커짐으로 인하여 생기는 기록/독출 특성의 악화를 막아주게 되었고, 우수한 CSS 특성을 갖도록 함으로서 품질 및 신뢰성이 향상되는 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 컴퓨터 보조기억장치인 하드디스크 드라이브에 있어서, 하드디스크 드라이브의 CSS 특성을 강화시키기 위하여, 트랙(12)이 형성된 디스크(11)의 CSS존(18)에서 헤드 Skew각도가 제로(Zero)가 되도록 드라이브의 헤드/디스크 장치를 구성함을 특징으로 하는 CSS 특성 개선을 위한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디스크(11)의 트랙(12)은 상기 디스크(11) 외주에서의 헤드 Skew각도 값이 커짐으로 인하여 생기는 기록/재생 특성의 저하를 막기 위하여 등각으로 배치함을 특징으로 하는 CSS 특성 개선을 위한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치.
