본 발명의 인터페이스 통신규격 자동감지 장치는 서로 다른 통신포맷을 갖는 PC 기종과의 직렬통신시 연결 잭을 통해 통신하는 시리얼 드라이버와, 상기 PC기종에 따라 시리얼 드라이버의 선택된 통신포트에 따라 직렬 인터페이스 통신규격을 설정하는 CPU를 구비한 인터페이스 통신규격 감지장치에 있어서, 상기 시리얼 드라이버와 접속된 연결 잭의 8번 핀과 상기 CPU의 레벨 감지포트 사이에 스위칭 트랜지스터를 접속 체용함으로써, 상기 스위칭 트랜지스터의 스위칭 동작에 따라 통신하는 PC 기종에 맞게 직렬통신이 가능한 인터페이스 통신 규격 자동감지장치로 구성되며, 본 발명의 인터페이스 통신규격 자동감지 방법은 임의의 시간간격으로 인터럽트시켜 연결 잭의 8번 핀의 데이타를 검출하여 판단하는 제1스텝과, 상기 판단결과에 따라 임의의 횟수까지 인터럽트시키면서 상기 제1스텝을 반복하는 제2스텝과, 상기 제1스텝에서 데이타 레벨이 검출되면 메킨토시 PC와 접속으로 판단되어, 접속된 PC 기종의 전송속도에 맞게 CPU로 로직 0을 출력하는 제3스텝과, 상기 제2스텝에서 임의의 횟수이상 인터럽트되면 IBM PC 기종과 접속으로 판단되어, 상기 접속된 PC 기종의 전송속도에 맞게 CPU로 로직 1을 출력하는 제4스텝으로 이루어진다.The interface communication standard automatic detection device of the present invention is a serial driver for communicating through a connection jack during serial communication with a PC model having a different communication format, and a serial interface communication standard according to the selected communication port of the serial driver according to the PC model.
