Abstract

본 발명은 액정표시장치 및 그 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는, 상·하 유리 기판, 금속 배선, 절연막, 에폭시 및 스페이서로 이루어진 균일한 셀 갭을 갖는 액정표시장치 및 그 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 둘 이상의 배선과 상기 배선을 외부와 연결하는 다수의 패드가 서로 다른 두께로 가장 자리에 형성되어 있는 제 1기판의 둘레를 따라 상기 패드가 두께와 반비례하는 크기의 스페이서가 혼합된 봉인재를 형성하고 제 1기판의 전면에 셀 간격을 주는 스페이서를 산포하고 제 2기판을 제 1기판 위에 부착한다. 따라서 본 발명에 따른 이러한 액정표시장치에서는 내부에 에폭시를 형성하는 방법의 변화를 통하여 혼합되어 있는 스페이서의 크기를 부분적으로 다르게 형성함으로써 전체적으로 액정 셀의 갭을 균일하게 하여 발생되는 오차를 없애고 화면의 상·하·좌·우 및 중앙부의 투과율을 동일하게 하여 콘트라스트와 휘도를 좋게 할 수 있다.The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly, to a liquid crystal display device having a uniform cell gap composed of upper and lower glass substrates, metal wirings, insulating films, epoxies and spacers, and a manufacturing method thereof. will be.
