Abstract

The filter construction automatically drains all the filtered filth produced in dish washing without the need of separately cleansing the filter after washing operation. The construction includes : an upper impeller of a shaft connecting to the shaft of a reversible drive motor to separate filth from water by centrifugal force of the revolving wash water ; a lower impeller mounted on the shaft of the upper one to move the separated wash water ; a separator tube housing the impeller shaft and leading the separated wash water toward the lower impeller ; a microfilter plate mounted on the outer periphery of the separator to filter the separated filth ; a direction control valve installed within the separator tube to control the flow direction.
