Abstract
The compressor and expander are comprised of a bit stream data provided from a variable length coding part(130) is input to a recompressing part(140) to be recompressed by a file compression technique, then output, in which a first through a fourth file compressing parts of the recompressing part(140) divides the provided bit stream data in unit of a respective different file length and file compresses; an adjusting part(160) detects a compression rate from the first through the fourth file compressing parts in a predetermined period and compares and determines the respective compression rate detected; data from the selecting part(150) being stored in a buffer part(170) temporarily, then outputs continuously in a constant ratio to be transmitted to an expander; the bit stream data transmitted from the compressor is transmitted to a restoration part(220) and a first through a fourth file restoration part of the restoration part(220) divides the input data in the file length.
