Abstract
본 발명은 영상기기의 부호화장치에 관한 것으로, 프레임간의 차분신호를 근거로 하여 부호화하는 영상기기의 부호화장치에 있어서, 현재 프레임과 예측된 프레임간의 차분신호에 대한 왜곡값과 기설정된 왜곡값의 비교에 의거하여 어느 한 부호화 방식을 선택하는 스위칭 제어신호를 제공하는 왜곡신호 처리수단과, 왜곡신호 처리수단의 비교 결과 프레임간 차분신호에 대한 왜곡값이 기설정된 왜곡값보다 작은 경우에 의거하여 부호화하는 제1부호화 수단과, 왜곡신호 처리수단의 비교 결과 상기 프레임간 차분신호에 대한 왜곡값이 기설정된 왜곡값보다 같거나 큰 경우에 의거하여 부호화하는 제2부호화수단과, 제1,2부호화수단에 의해서 부호화된 데이터를 가변길이 부호화하는 VLC로 이루어짐으로써, 전송채널 용량을 효율적으로 이용하면서도 프레임간 신호대잡음지를 증가시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to an encoding apparatus for an image apparatus, and the encoding apparatus for an image apparatus that encodes based on a difference signal between frames, wherein the distortion value for the difference signal between the current frame and the predicted frame is compared with a preset distortion value.
