Abstract
본 발명은 영상 신호에서 소정 주기를 갖는 동기 신호의 유무를 검출하는 동기 신호 검출 방법에 관한 것으로서, 이를 위하여, 영상 신호에서 분리되어 입력되는 수평 동기 신호의 펄스 수를 소정 시간 동안 카운트하는 제1단계와 ; 소정 시간동안 카운트된 펄스 수가 동기 신호임을 의미하여 기설정된 최대 펄스 수와 최소 펄스 수 사이에 있는지를 판단하는 제2단계와 ; 카운트된 펄스 수가 상기 최대 펄스 수와 최소 펄스 수 사이에 있으면 동기 신호가 검출된 것으로 판단하는 제3단계를 포함하는 동기 신호 검출 방법을 제공함으로써, 동기 신호가 갖는 주기의 특성을 이용하여 동기 신호 펄스를 카운트하여 동기 신호의 유무 검출을 할 수 있고, 또한 동기 신호로 인식하기 위한 한계 범위인 최소 및 최대 펄스 수를 용이하게 임의로 설정 변경할 수 있으므로 영상 신호의 감도 조정이 가능한 잇점이 있는 것이다.The present invention relates to a synchronization signal detection method for detecting the presence or absence of a synchronization signal having a predetermined period in an image signal.
