Abstract
The selective reply apparatus and control method for branch connected telephone terminal unit makes it possible to call the desired telephone terminal among a number of telephone terminals which is branch connected on the telephone line. The selective reply apparatus and control method for branch connected telephone terminal unit includes; a) a switching unit(20) which connects and outputs the telephone line(10) to the first port, and replies to the switching control signal and connects the telephone line to the second port, b) an adjusting unit which is connected to the second port and adjusts the impedance between the telephone line and the telephone terminal, c) a self calling signal detection unit which replies when the ring signal of the first port includes the specified calling detection signal by generating a calling detection signal, and d) a control unit(32) which replies automatically by generating a switching control signal to the switching unit when a calling detection signal is generated from the self calling signal detection unit.
