Abstract

This invention provides a zero voltage switching dummy resonance flyback converter with low voltage stress that can minimize the switching loss by completely dropping the voltage to zero when switching. In this converter, power supply magnetizing current of a transformer, increased while a switching transistor is being turned on, is applied to a condenser via the transformer's second diode as the switching transistor is turned off, the condenser is connected to the transistor in parallel, and the transistor is connected to the diode.
