Abstract
마이크로 컨트롤러 칩의 온도를 감지하여 온도가 설정 온도 이상 상승하면 컴퓨터 시스템의 전원을 차단시켜 컴퓨터 시스템의 동작을 중지시키므로 냉각 장치의 이상으로 발생하는 소자의 손상을 방지하기 위한 마이크로컨트롤러 칩의 과열 감지 장치 및 그 제어 방법을 제공하기 위하여, 마이크로 컨트롤러 칩의 온도에 대응되는 전기 신호를 출력하는 온도 감지 수단과; 상기 온도 감지 수단에서 출력되는 상기 전기 신호와 이미 설정되어 있는 기준 전압을 비교하여, 해당 상태의 신호를 출력하는 비교수단; 상기 비교 수단에서 출력되는 신호의 상태에 따라 판단된 마이크로 컨트롤러 칩의 온도가 설정 온도 이상으로 상승하면, 설정 온도 이하로 감소될 때까지 컴퓨터 시스템의 상태를 전원 관리 모드로 전환시켜 전원 공급을 차단시키기 위한 제어 신호를 출력하는 동작 제어 수단과; 상기 동작 제어 수단에서 출력되는 제어신호에 따라 동작 상태가 가변되어, 컴퓨터 시스템의 동작에 필요한 각 레벨의 전원 공급이 제어되는 전원 공급 수단으로 이루어져 있다.Detects the temperature of the microcontroller chip and if the temperature rises above the set temperature, shuts down the computer system and stops the operation of the computer system.
