본 발명은 고온의 배기가스의 촉매제로의 분출되는 중앙부위의 배기 단위면적을 변환시키어 라이트 업(Light-off)을 유지하면서 열화도를 낮출 수 있는 기억합금을 이용한 배기가스의 촉매 장치에 관한 것으로, 확관원 통체(10)의 입구부 중앙에, 확관원통체(10)의 배기유입구(11)쪽으로부터 유입되는 배기가스의 통과 면적을 변환 시킬수 있는 형상기억합금(30)을 형성하여, 확관원통체(10)을 통과하는 배기가스의 단위면적당 유동흐름을 변환 시킬수 있도록 되어, 상기 형상기억합금(30)은, 일단이 확관원통체와 연결되는 프론트파이프(20)에 고정이 되고, 타단은 확관원통체(10)의 확대관부(12)에서 자유도를 주어, 상기 고온 영역에서는 상기 형상기억합금이 변위되어 배기가스의 유동스름이 중앙에서 원주방향으로 확산되도록 한것이다.The present invention relates to a catalyst for exhaust gas using a storage alloy capable of reducing the degree of deterioration while maintaining light-off by converting the exhaust unit area of the central part ejected into the catalyst of the high temperature exhaust gas.
