Abstract

구체적으로 시동시의 냉각수도온도 Tws를 외기온도 상당치라 보고, 그 시동시의 냉각수온도 Tws와 차량속도 VSP에 의거하여 촉매로부터의 방열량 Tm을 추정한다, 그리고 그 발열량 Tm의 시간적분치 STm을 산출한다. 한편, 엔진의 흡입공기량 Q를 배기량 상당치로 간주하고, 상기 흡입공기량 Q에 의거하여 배기로부터 촉매가 흡열하는 수열량 Tp를 추정한다. 그리고 상기 수열량 Tp의 시간적분치 STp를 산출한다. 여기서, 상기 수열량 STp에서 방열량 STm을 감산하여, 촉매에 유지되는 열량 X를 산출하고, 그 열량 X와 소정치를 비교하는 것으로, 촉매가 활성온도에 달하고 있는가 아닌가를 추정하게 된다.Specifically, the cooling water temperature Tws at the start is regarded as the outside temperature equivalent, and the heat radiation amount Tm from the catalyst is estimated based on the cooling water temperature Tws at the start and the vehicle speed VSP, and the time integral STm of the calorific value Tm is calculated. .
