Abstract
본 발명은 실시간 오디오 신호 압축 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 간단한 회로 구성에 의해 다채널의 디지탈 오디오 데이터를 실시간적으로 압축하는 장치에 관한 것이며, 종래의 하드웨어 구성으로 인한 제어 체계의 복잡함과 다채널 신호 압축에서의 비효율화를 개선하기 위하여 입출력을 담당하는 FIFO(First In First Out) 모듈과 데이터 입 ·출력 및 데이터 압축 프로세싱을 실시간 제어하는 제어 타이밍(Control Timing) 발생부 및 다채널 확장을 위한 채널 확장 모듈로 구성되어, 구현 방식이 간단하여 하드웨어량을 크게 줄일 수 있으며 그에 따라 비용 절감 효과도 얻을 수 있다. 또한 구조가 간단하므로 유지, 보수 및 신뢰성이 높으며 이로 인한 시스템의 소형화로 다른 시스템과의 접속이 용이하고 다 채널 확장시 집적도를 크게 높일 수 있는 이점이 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
