Abstract

본 발명은 광자기디스크 기록매체에 관한 것으로, 좀 더 상세하게는 ZCAV(zoned constant angular velocity) 포맷(format)에 의해 각존에서의 기록 조건이 다르므로서 나타나는 기록의 불완전과 최적 기록 조건을 찾기 위하여 여러번의 기록 재생 테스트로 인해 나타나는 시간의 지연 현상을 줄이기 위해 프리피트(pre-pit)에 의한 최적 기록 조건을 드라이브에 제공하므로써 전체 기록 시스템의 성능을 향상시킨 광자기 기록메체에 관한 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 마크 에지 기록법 및 ZCAV 포맷을 사용하는 광자기디스크 사용자 영역의 구조에 있어서, (A) 버퍼(buffer) 영역, (B) 정보 섹터(zone information sector) 영역 (C) 데이터(data)영역, (D)패리티(parity)영역, (E) 스페어(spares) 영역 및 (F) 버퍼 영역으로 구성된 디스크 사용자 영역의 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (B) 정보섹터 영역내에 각 존에 해당하는 제반 기록 조건이 물리적인 프리피트로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록매체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (B) 정보섹터 영역이 최초 데이터 트랙, 마지막 데이터 트랙, 기록 주파수, 기록파워, 기록시간, 스페어 영역의 시작 트랙, 스페어 영역의 끝 트랙, 버퍼 영역의 시작 트랙, 버퍼 영역의 끝 트랙에 대한 정보를 저장하는 바이트로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록매체.
  4. 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 기록파워 및 기록시간에 대한 정보저장 바이트가 기록파워는 4개, 기록시간은 3개로 지정됨을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록매체.
  5. 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 최초 데이터 트랙, 마지막 데이터 트랙, 기록 주파수, 스페어 영역의 시작트랙, 스페어 영역의 끝트랙, 버퍼 영역의 시작트랙, 버퍼 영역의 끝트랙에 대한 정보저장 바이트가 각각 1개씩 지정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록매체.
