Abstract
본 발명은 천연 모데나이트(mordenite)계 광물, 즉, 송지암을 이용하여 X∼형 및 P∼형 제올라이트를 제조하는 방법에 관한것으로서, 종래, 산화 규소, 산화 알루미늄, 산화나트륨 등을 이용하여 90∼120℃ 정도의 고온에서 반응시켜 제조하였던 것과는 달리, 다량의 불순물이 포함된 천연의 모데나이트계 광물을 600∼1000℃에서 4시간 정도 하소(calcination)시켜 NaCl이나 NaOH와의 반응성이 향상되도록 개질시킨 후, NaOH 또는 NaOH∼NaCl을 첨가하여 90∼100℃의 비교적 저온에서 반응시키는 것에 의하여, 부가 가치성이 높은 촉매제, 이온 교환제, 중금속 제거용 등에 활용될 수 있는 X∼형 및 P∼형 제올라이트를 제조하는 신규유용한 발명이다.The present invention relates to a method for producing X-type and P-type zeolites using natural mordenite-based minerals, that is, rosin, and is conventionally prepared using silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, sodium oxide, or the like.
