Abstract

본 발명은 운전자가 추월이나, 후진을 하는 경우에 사이드 미러나 룸 미러의 사각지대가 존재하여 후방이나 측방에 존재하는 물제로 인한 안전사고를 예방할 수 있는 CCD 카메라를 사용한 좌, 우방및 후방 모니터링 시스템에 관한 것으로, 차량의 좌측, 우측, 후방에 설치되어 각 방향의 모습을 비추는 모니터링용 CCD(Charge Coupled Device)카메라(40)와; 상기 CCD 카메라에서 부터 인가된 신호를 영상신호로 바꾸는 영상처리기(30)와; 상기 영상처리기를 거친 신호를 운전자에게 보여줄수 있는 차량내에 설치된 표시부(10)와; 후진기어와 콤비네이션 스위치에서 인가되는 후진신호(52) 또는 좌회전신호(53), 우회전신호(51)중 어느 한 신호가 주어지면 선택적으로 차량의 좌측방향, 우측방향, 후방향에 설치된 CCD카메라중 하나를 구동하고, 상기 각각의 방향신호가 인가시 표시부를 모니터링 시스템이 사용할 수 있게 제어하는 제어부(20)로; 구성함을 특징으로 하는 장치이다.
본 발명 CCD 카메라를 사용한 좌, 우방 및 후방 모니터링 시스템은 사이드 미러나 백미러의 사각지대에 존재한 물체에 대해 운전자가 보다 능동적인 대처로 안전운행을 할 수 있도록 한다.

Claims (1)

  1. 차량의 좌측, 우측, 후방에 설치되어 각 방향의 모습을 비추는 모니터링용 CCD 카메라와; 상기 CCD 카메라에서 부터 인가된 신호를 영상신호로 바꾸는 영상처리기와; 상기 영상처리기를 거친 신호를 운전자에게 보여줄수 있도록 차량내에 설치된 표시부와; 후진기어와 콤비네이션 스위치에서 인가되는 후진신호 또는 좌회전신호, 우측전신호중 어느 한 신호가 주어지면 선택적으로 차량의 좌측방향, 우측방향 후방향에 설치된 CCD 카메라중 하나를 구동하고, 상기 각각의 방향 신호가 인가시 표시부를 모니터링 시스템이 사용할 수 있게 제어하는 제어부로 이루어짐을 특징으로하는 CCD 카메라를 사용한 좌, 우방 및 후방 모니터링 시스템.
