Abstract

본 발명은 경계지역의 CDMA 셀에서 통화중 핸드오프를 감소시키기 위한 방식에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 CDMA 이동통신 가입자가 CDMA 시스템 서비스 영역의 경계에 있을 경우 타 기종간 핸드오프의 처리 없이도 호절단 확률을 줄여서 통화 품질을 향상시키기 위한 방식으로서 경계지역에서 발생한 호의 절단 가능성을 최소화하는데 그 목적이 있다. 핸드오프를 줄이는 방식에 대해 본 발명에서는 셀을 옴니셀로 구성할 경우, 섹터셀로 구성할 경우, 두 방식을 혼합할 경우로 나누어 구현방식을 제안한다.

Claims (3)

  1. CDMA 이동통신 시스템 서비스지역의 경계셀에 있는 이동국이 통화중에 시스템 경계셀을 벗어나는 가능성을최대한 억제하기 위한 방법으로, 셀을 옴니셀로 구형할 경우; 호가 도착하면 새로운 호인가 검사하여, 새로운 호가 아니면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 새로운 호이면 경계셀인가 여부를 판단하는 제1과정(40,41,42,48); 상기 제1과정에서경계셀로 판단되지 않으면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 경계셀로 판단되면 인접셀 파일롯 세기(Ec/It)를 게산하는 제2과정(43,48); 상기 제2과정의 수행후, 이동국이 수신하는 파일롯 세트 신호중 적어도 하나의 파일롯 세기가 소정의 값(T_Ec/It) 보다 크면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 크지 않으면 이동국과 셀 안테나간의 거리(DBMB)을 계산하는 제3과정(44,45,48); 및 상기 DBMB가 소정의 값(TDBMB)보다 크면 호를 블로킹하고 크지 않으면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하는제4과정(46,47,48,49)으로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 경계지역 CDMA 셀에서 통화중 핸드오프 감소방법.
  2. CDMA 이동통신 시스템 서비스지역의 경계셀에 있는 이동국이 통화중에 시스템 경계셀을 벗어나는 가능성을 최대한 억제하기 위한 방법으로, 셀을 섹터셀로 구성할 경우; 호가 도착하면 새로운 호인가 판단하여, 새로운 호가 아니면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 새로운 호이면 경계셀인지 경계섹터(c)인지를 판단하는 제1과정(50,51,52,54); 및 상기 제1과정에서 경계셀이 아니거나 경계섹터가 아니면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 경계셀이고 경계섹터이면 호를 블로킹하는 제2과정(53,54,55)으로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 경계지역 CDMA 셀에서 통화중 핸드오프 감소방법.
  3. CDMA 이동통신 시스템 서비스지역의 경계셀에 있는 이동국이 통화중에 시스템 경계셀을 벗어나는 가능성을최대한 억제하기 위한 벙법으로, 셀을 옴니셀과 섹터셀로 혼합하여 구성할 경우; 호가 도착하여 새로운 호인지 판단하여,새로운 호가 아니면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 새로운 호이면 경계셀인지 경계섹터(c)인지 여부를 판단하는 제1과정(60,61,62,66); 상기 제1과정에서 경계셀이 아니거나 경계섹터(c)가 아니면 일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하고 경계셀이고경계섹터이며 DBMB를 계산하는 제2과정(63,66); 및 상기 제2과정의 DBMB가 T_DBMB보다 크면 호를 블로킹하고 크지 않으면일반호 처리 서비스를 제공하는 제3과정(65,66,67)으로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 경계지역 CDMA 셀에서 통화중 핸드오프 감소방법.
