Abstract
본 발명은 비자성 지지체상에 강자성 분말을 결합제 중에 분산시킨 자성층을 코팅하여서 된 자기기록 매체에 있어, 자성층에 사용되는 자성체로서 코발트감마페라이트 70~90중량부에 대해서 크롬옥사이드를 30~10중량부 함유하고, 바인더로서 비닐계수지, 우레탄수지, 에폭시, 페녹시계 수지들중 하나 혹은 이들의 조합 형태를 사용하며, 자성체의 분산을 위해 초기 분산 1단계과정에서 상대적으로 분산이 어려운 코발트감마페라이트만을 고형분 50~80%로 하여 믹싱, 분산하고 크롬자성체는 상기의 믹싱이 완성된 뒤 2단계로 고형분을 낮추고 이중에 크롬을 투입하여 고형분이 35~50%가 되도록 하여 믹싱, 분산함을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의한 자기기록 매체는 종래의 자기기록 매체에 비해 분산이 뛰어나고 자기기록성 및 전자특이 현저히 향상 되는 효과가 있다.The present invention is a magnetic recording medium obtained by coating a magnetic layer in which a ferromagnetic powder is dispersed in a binder on a nonmagnetic support, wherein the chromium oxide is 30 to 10 parts by weight based on 70 to 90 parts by weight of cobalt gamma ferrite as a magnetic material used for the magnetic layer.
