본 발명의 대화형 비디오 서비스(Interactiv Video Service)에 필요한 중앙센터와 가입자 사이의 제어채널(Control Channel)의 전송방법에 있어서, 특히 동화상 정보가 전송되는 고속데이타 채널과 시스템 제어정보가 전송되는 제어채널의 데이타를 다중화하여 하나의 채널에 수용시켜서 전송토록함을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 네트워크의 채널제어방법에 관한 것으로, 대화형 비디오 서비스를 수용하는 네트워크에 필요한 장비는 기본적으로 2개의 채널이 필요하므로 두개의 채널을 수용하기 위한 장비의 제작에 어려움이 따르며, 또한 제어채널을 위한 별도의 선로가 필요하게 되는 문제가 있어, 본 발명은 제어채널의 제어정보를 고속 데이타 채널에 다중화 시켜 전송함으로써, 하나의 물리적 채널로 두 개의 채널을 수용할 수 있도록 하여 하드웨어 구성이 간단해지고 선로비용이 절감되며, 시스템 구성장비의 입출력단자가 단순화되어 사용이 손쉬어지도록 한 것이다.In the method for transmitting a control channel between a central center and a subscriber required for an interactiv video service of the present invention, in particular, a fast data channel for transmitting video information and a control channel for transmitting system control information The present invention relates to a channel control method of a multimedia network, characterized in that multiplexed data is received in one channel to be transmitted.
