본 발명은 일면의 표면에 요철구조를 형성하여 양면의 구조가 서로 상이한 폴리에스테르 필름 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 즉, 폴리에스테르 수지를 용융 압출하여 냉각롤 상에서 쉬트를 형성시킨 후 예열 단계를 거쳐 연신 및 열처리하는 단계를 포함하는 적어도 일축연신된 폴리에스테르 필름의 제조방법의 있어서, 상기 단계에서 폴리에스테르 쉬트 또는 필름이 통과하는 직어도 하나의 롤상에 요철구조름 형성시킴으로써 필름의 표면을 엠보싱 처리하는 단계를 포함하여 제조된 폴리에스테르 필름은, 기록매체용으로 사용할 경우 코팅면이 평활하여 전자특성이 우수하면서도 권취성이 향상되고 하이-엣지 등외 문제점이나 주행중 이물이 탈락되는 현상이 없어 특히 고밀도/고속화에 대응하기 위한 가장 적합할 뿐 아니라, 그래픽 아트용으로 사용할 경우 슬리팅성과 주행성이 우수하고 엠보싱 효과로 인하여 인쇄·증착 등의 후가공을 통해 다양한 용도로 활용할 수 있는 필름이다.The present invention relates to a polyester film and a method of manufacturing the same by forming a concave-convex structure on the surface of one side, the structures of both sides are different from each other.
