Abstract
본 휴대용 단말기의 위치정보 제공방법은 무선전화망시스템에 있어서, 고정국의 고유번호를 이용하여 현재 단말기의 위치데이터를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 방법은 페이징신호 발생에 의하여 통화가 개시되면 일반 통화를 위한 접속인지 위치정보 전송을 위한 접속인지를 판단하고; 위치정보를 전송하기 위한 접속인 경우에, 단말기에 대한 비밀번호가 수신되었는지를 판단한 뒤, 단말기내에 설정되어 있는 비밀번호와 일치하는지를 판단하고; 비밀번호가 일치하면 현재 고정국의 고유번호를 단말기의 위치정보로 전송하며; 통화로 접속이 일반통화를 위한 접속인 경우, 통화를 수행한 뒤, 통화로가 접속되면, 운용자에 의해 위치정보 송출요구신호가 인가되었는지를 판단하며; 위치정보 송출요구신호가 인가되면, 고정국의 고유번호를 위치정보로 전송하며; 위치정보 송출요구신호가 없는 경우, 통화모드를 수행하고; 위치정보 전송과정과 통화과정이 완료되면, 접속된 통화로를 해제하는 과정을 포함하여 수행된다.The method for providing location information of the portable terminal is to provide location data of the current terminal using a unique number of a fixed station in a wireless telephone network system.
