엔진의 전 속도 구간에서 균일하고 큰 토오크 및 출력을 얻을 수 있으며, 급감속 및 급가속시 그에 부응하여 신속히 흡기가 이루어질 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 저속용 및 고속용 흡기관을 하나의 연소실에 대하여 갖고 있는 서지탱크를 구비한 엔진에 있어서, 상기한 서지탱크의 내측에 고속용 흡기관을 개폐할 수 있는 위치로 다수개 밸브판이 희동가능하게 설치되며, 이들 밸브판은 전자제어 유닛에 의해 정역방향의 구동이 제어되는 모터의 회전으로 감김되거나 풀림되는 와이어가 관통하며, 이 와이어에는 밸브판에 희동력을 가하기 위한 걸림돌기가 고정됨과 아룰러 양끝단부가 드럼에 각각 감겨지는 내연기관의 흡기 조절장치를 제공한다.Uniform and large torque and output can be obtained in the entire speed range of the engine, and low speed and high speed intake pipes are provided in one combustion chamber to enable rapid intake in response to rapid deceleration and rapid acceleration.
