Abstract
본 발명은 키틴(Chitin)질을 추출하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 좀더 구체적으로, 본 발명은 정수 침전지의 폐기물인 슬러지로부터 키틴질을 추출하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 추출방법은 정수 슬러지에 유기용매를 가하여 색소를 제거하는 공정 ; 전기에서 수득한 물질에 알카리를 가하여 얻은 잔류물을 과산화수소 수용액에 침지시켜 단백질을 제거하는 공정 ; 전기에서 수득한 물질에 산 수용액을 가하여 무기물을 제거하는 공정; 및, 전기에서 수득한 물질에 유기용매를 가하여 염을 제거하는 공정을 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하며, 폐기물인 정수 슬러기로부터 산업상 유용한 저분자량의 키틴질을 간단히 경제적으로 추출할 수 있는 동시에 환경오염 방지 면에서도 그 효과가 크다.The present invention relates to a method for extracting chitin.
