Abstract

L-threonin is prepared by (a) making recombinant plasmid PAT94 with threonin operon derived from E-coli and par region concerned with plasmid division; (b) converting the character of E-coli TF4076 into recombinant E-coli whose expression isn't suppressed by threonin and isoleucine and whose biosynthetic enzyme is inhibited by threonin with recombinant plasmid PAT94 ; (c) culturing the recombinant E-coli; (d) accumulating L-threonin in the medium; (e) recovering L-threonin from the medium.
