Abstract

The diesel engine has an optimized combustion trail for reducing the amounts of exhaust gas(CO, NOx, HC) by modifying a combustion chamber and the injecting states of fuel. The engine includes a cylinder block(10), a cylinder head(12), a cylinder bore(11), a piston(1) and a combustion chamber(5). The intake air flows into the cylinder bore(11) making vortices and compressed by piston in the combustion chamber(5). The fuel is injected through the nozzle whose specification is determined by an optimization.
