Abstract

The new flexographic ink is composed of old flexographic ink, made of 15-20 wt% paint , 15-25 wt% resin, 52-68 wt% solvent and 2-3 wt% additive, and silicone solution, made of 5-10 wt% silicone oil with polymethylsiloxane, 10-15 wt% resin and 75-85 wt% solvent. The ratio of old flexographic ink to silicone solution is from 1:4 to 1:6. The flexographic ink shows improved abrasion resistance.
