플로피 디스크 드라이브용 헤드 캐리지의 조절 장치에 있어서, 제품마다 단턱부의 편평도를 정밀 가공하는데는 한계가 있으므로 작업의 정확도 및 제품의 균일성을 유지하기 어렵고, 순간접착제를 사용하여 가접합을 하므로 작업상 공정이 복잡해지는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 지그 몸체의 일측에 지그 어댑터에 고정보조수단 및 결합핀을 구비한 지그 어댑터를 설치하고, 지그 몸체의 타측에 다수개의 스프링 핀 및 스프링 핀과 평평한 유리판을 보조하는 레버를 구비한 지지부를 설치하고, 지지부의 하부에 짐벌 어셈블리의 헤드의 높이 및 각도를 조절하는 위치 조절수단을 설치하고, 짐벌 어셈블리를 접착시키는 자외선 에폭시 수지를 경화시키기 위하여 상기 유리판의 양측에 별도로 다수개의 경화 수단을 설치하였다. 따라서, 이 장치는 퍼스날 컴퓨터 또는 노트북 컴퓨터등 FDD가 장착된 모든 전자기기에 다양하게 적용될 수 있다.In the head carriage adjusting device for the floppy disk drive, there is a limit in precisely processing the flatness of the stepped part for each product, so it is difficult to maintain the accuracy of the work and the uniformity of the product.
