an infrared detector unit(1) for producing a signal depending on the distance from a remote controller; the first/second. signal generating units(5,10) for generating a certain intensity signal with a signal received from the infrared detector unit; integrator units(6,11) for transforming the signal into a DC signal; a signal selecting unit(14) for selecting a signal among remote control signals of signal generating units; a control unit(15) for auto focusing and operating a corresponding mode by receiving the selected remote control signal; thereby simplifying the system and reducing the manufacturing cost.
