본 발명은 CCD카메라와 영상획득보드(Image Capture Board)와의 구성관계를 최적화하여 시스템의 구성상의 효율을 그대화한 영상입력기에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 영상입력기는 영상데이타를 입력하기 위한 CCD카메라와, 이 CCD카메라로부터의 영상출력신호를 처리하여 멀티미디어 PC에 입력시키기 위한 영상획등보드를 구비하고, 상기 CCD카메라로부터의 영상출력신호를 처리하여 멀티미디어PC에 입력시키기 위한 영상획득보드를 구비하고, 상기 CCD카메라는 영상수광을 행하는 CCD, 이 CCD의 수직성분을 구동하기 위한 수직CCD구동기, 상기 CCD로부터 출력된 신호를 받아서 이 신호의 리셋노이즈를 제거하고 신호의 크기에 따라 신호이득을 조종하여 영상신호출력단에 영상신호를 아날로그신호로서 출력하는 CDS/AGC로 구성되고, 사익 영상획득보드는 상기 영상신호출력단에서 출력된 아날로그신호를 영상입력단을 통해 수신하여 디지탈신호로 변환하는 A/D변환기, 이 A/D변환기로부터 출력된 디지탈신호를 입력하여 처리하는 디지탈칼라신호처리기, 이 디지탈칼라신호처리기로부터의 출력신호를 저장하는 영상메모리소자, 상기 A/D변환기, 디지탈칼라신호처리기, 영상기억소자에 타이밍신호 및 동기신호를 부여하는 동시에 상기 CCD카메라의 수직CCD구동 및 CDS/AGC에도 이와 같은 신호를 부여하는 타이밍/동기처리기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 구성에 따라서, 본 발명은 영상획득보드에 장착된 디지탈라신호처리기(53)를 이용하여 종래 카메라의 칼라영상처리기가 행하던 기능을 대체함으로써 중복되는 불필용한 구성요소를 제거하였다. 또한, 이러한 구성에 따라 이에 부수되었던 NTSC/PAL TV신호전환 기능을 행하던 종래의 엔코더(15)및 디코더(24)를 동시에 제거할 수 있고, 이에 더하여 종래의 카메라에 내장되었던 타이밍발생기(17)및 동기신호발생기(16)의 기능을 영상획득보드의 타이밍/동기신호발생기가 대체할 수 있도록 함으로써 한층 효율성있는 구성이 되었다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 영상입력기는 종래에 비해 그 부품수가 1/3로 크게 감소되어 그 치수를 대폭적으로 축소시킬 수 있을 뿐 아니라 그 제조에 필요한 비용 및 생산원가를 절감시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 노이즈에 민감한 부분인 종래 카메라의 아나로그칼라신호처리기가 삭제됨으로써 고질적으로 문제가 되어왔던 영상데이타의 신뢰도에 근본적인 개선택을 제시하고 있다.The present invention relates to an image input device that optimizes the configuration relationship between a CCD camera and an image capture board to improve the efficiency of the system.
