Abstract

본 발명은 신호변환기의 중류에 관계없이 위성방송을 수신할 수 있도록 한 위성방송 수신시스템의 신호변환기 자동판별방법에 관한 것이다. 종래의 기술은 LNB의 종류에 따라 수신기의 튜너와 마이컴이 바뀌어야 하거나 사용자가 가지고 있는 수신기의 종류에 맞추어 안테나와 LNB를 구비해야만하는 불편함이 있었다. 따라서 본 발명은 튜너를 통하여 수신되는 방송의 VPS번호를 찾아 마이컴으로 출력하는 VPS디코더를 구비하고 LNB의 종류 및 방송국을 선택하여 선택한 방송국의 방송 주파수에 맞는 데이타를 구하고, 방송이 수신되는가를 판단하여 수신된 방송의 VPS번호를 상기 선택한 방송국의 VPS번호와 일치하는가를 판단하고, 상기 선택한 방송국의 VPS번호와 수신된 방송의 VPS번호 일치시 LNB를 상기에서 선택한 것으로 고정하며, 방송수신이 없거나 VPS번호 비일치시 모든 방송국을 선택하여 선택된 방송국 모두 수신된 방송의 VPS번호가 일치하지 않으면 LNB의 종류를 바꾸어 검사를 수행하고, 모든 LNB에 대해 수신된 방송의 VPS번호 비일치시 LNB를 기본값으로 고정하도록 함으로써 위성방송을 수신할 수 있는 기능이 내장된 시스템에서 LNB의 종류에 관계없이 수신기를 사용할 수 있도록 한 것이다.The present invention relates to a signal converter automatic discrimination method of a satellite broadcast receiving system capable of receiving satellite broadcast regardless of the midstream of the signal converter.
