The reciprocating compressor comprises a rotation axis(103) of a motor(102) supported by a frame(101), a piston(104) having the same axis direction as a central line of the rotation axis(103), a gear for rotating the rotation axis(103), and a reciprocating motion unit capable of making the piston(104) perform a linear reciprocating motion so as to compress an operational liquid flowed from an inhaling hole by means of power transferred by the gear.
