본 발명은 헤드 드럽상에 회전 소거헤드를 부착하지 않으면서도 녹화모드시에 데크의 구동모드를 적용적으로 제어함으로서 전폭소거헤드와 녹화하고자 하는 테이프의 녹화시작점 사이에 위치하는 테이프의 결락부분에 존재하는 신호를 자동으로 소거할 수 있는 브이씨알의 편집장치 및 그 편집 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 테이프의 녹화시에 빨리 되감기를 실행하면서 전폭 소거헤드로 녹화시작점과 전폭소거헤드가 위치하는 구간 사이의 영상 데이타를 소거한 다음 원래의 녹화시작점 위치로 빨리감기를 하거나 또는 테이프의 녹화시에 전폭소거헤드가 위치하는 부분까지 테이프의 빨리되감기를 실행한 다음 다시 녹화시작점까지 빨리감기를 실행하는 시점에서 전폭 소거헤드와 녹화시작점 사이에 존재하는 테이프 구간의 영상데이타를 소거하도록 구동모드를 제어함으로서, 별도의 회전 소거헤드를 부착함이 없이 녹화시에 테크 메카니즘을 자동적으로 구동하여 녹화시작점과 전폭소거헤드 사이에 존재하는 구 영상신호를 소거하여 테이프의 결락부분에 존재하게 되는 구 영상신호에 기인하는 재생 영상신호의 화질열화를 효과적으로 방지한 것이다.The present invention is applied to the missing part of the tape located between the full-erasing head and the recording start point of the tape to be recorded by adaptively controlling the driving mode of the deck in the recording mode without attaching the rotary erasing head on the head drop.
