본 발명은 광 픽업을 개시한다. 본 발명은, 빔 스프리터; 포커싱 신호만을 검출하도록 홀로그램 패턴이 형성된 홀로그램과 포토 다이오드를 갖는 제1홀로그램 소자; 포커싱과 트랙킹 신호를 검출하도록 3분할 홀로그램 패턴과 홀로그램 패턴이 형성된 홀로그램과 포토 다이오드를 갖는 제2홀로그램 소자; 상기 빔 스프리터에 의해 반사된 서로 다른 파장의 레이저 빔을 광 디스크에 집속시키는 집속수단; 을 포함하여 하나의 몸체에 복수개의 기록층이 형성된 광 디스크의 각 기록층에 각각 기록/재생을 행하도록 된 것으로서, 서로 다른 2가지 이상의 파장을 가지는 레이저 빔을 제1, 2홀로그램 소자를 통해 선택적으로 발생 시킬 수 있는 것이어서, 한몸체에 복수의 기록층을 가지고 있는 광 디스크에 용이하게 기록/재생을 행할 수 있는 것은 물론이고, 특히 트랙이 마련되어 있지 않은 어느 하나의 기록층을 통해 포커스 신호만을 용이하게 검출할 수 있는 이점이 있다.The present invention discloses an optical pickup.
