Abstract

본 발명은, 기지국은 전체 트래픽 채널 자원중에서 일정한 수의 채널 자원을 핸드오프 전용의 채널로 보유하고 나머지 트래픽 채널 자원에 대해서는 일반호 요구시와 핸드오프 요구시 모두 할당할 수 있도록 관리하여 핸드오프가 빈번히 발생하는 환경에서 핸드오프 요구에 대한 호단절의 빈도를 효과적으로 줄이는 이동통신 시스팀의 트래픽 채널 관리방법을 제공하며, CDMA 이동통신 시스팀중 기지국에서 관리하는 n개의 트래픽 채널 자원중 일반호 및 핸드오프 요구시 할당하기 위해 i개의 트래픽 채널을 모두 할당했을때 핸드오프 요구시 할당할 수 있도록 j개의 트래픽 채널을 관리함으로써 일반호 요구시에는 i개중 1개를 할당하고, 핸드오프 요구시에는 i개의 채널중 할당되지 않은 트래픽 채널이 있을때 i개중에서 한개를 핸드오프용으로 할당하고, i개중에서 모두 할당하고 여유가 없을때는 j개의 핸드오프용 채널 중에서 한개를 핸드오프 요구에 대하여 할당한다.According to the present invention, a base station manages a predetermined number of channel resources among all traffic channel resources as a handoff-only channel and allocates the remaining traffic channel resources to both a general call request and a handoff request.
