Abstract

본 발명은 광섬유 내부의 광전달 통로인 코아의 굴절율을 중심으로 부터 계단형으로 감소되도록 하여 레일리(Rayleigh)산란손실을 방지하고 무작위 굽힘 손실을 최소화하여 전송효율을 증가시킬 수 있는 단일모드 광섬유에 판한 것이다.
본 발명온 굴절율이 n인 코아와 상기 코아를 감싸는 굴절율이 n'인 클래드를 구비하는 단일모드 광섬유에 있어서, n〉n'이고, 상기 코아의 중심 부분으로 멀어질수록 코아의 굴절율 n이 n0를 최대로 하여 순차적으로 n1및 n2로 3단 계단형상으로 감소되도록 플루오르량으로 조절하며, 클래드의 굴절율이 상기 코아의 최소굴절을 n2보다 작게 형성된다.

  1. 굴절율이 n인 코아와 상기 코아를 감싸는 괄절율이 n'인 클래드를 구비하는 단일모드 광섬유에 있어서, n〉n'이고, 상기 코아의 중심 부분으로 멀어질수록 코아의 굴절율 n이 n0를 최대로 하여 순차적으로 n1및 n2로 3단 계단형상으로 감소되도록 플루오르량으로 조절하며, 클래드의 굴절율이 상기 코아의 최소굴절율 n2보다 작게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 단일모드 광섬유.
