유기성 오폐수를 종래에는 호기성 미생물을 배양증식시켜 오폐수중에 용해되어 있는 유기물을 분해 산화시키는 공정으로 정화시키는 공정으로서 1차침전, 폭기, 2차침전 및 생성된 스러지의 소화시설과 폭기조에서 호기상태를 유지하기 위한 방대한 폭기장치등이 구비되어 정화처리를 하고 있으나 처리과정에서 유기물의 분해로 인한 가스(악취)의 발산은 물론 완벽한 분해가 이르워지지 않기 때문에 처리수에는 많은 양의 오염물질이 잔류되어 2차오염을 유발시키고 있어 이글 해소하기 위해서는 3차처리시설이 필수적으로 요청되는 실정이다.The organic wastewater is conventionally purified by culturing and expanding aerobic microorganisms to decompose and oxidize organic substances dissolved in the wastewater. 자연계의 흙 특히 부식토는 부식토 스스로가 유기물질을 부식토화시키는 회로가 있다. 이는 부식토중에 서식하는 토양성균군이 배설하는 대사산물의 작용에 의한 것으로, 이 변성회로를 유기성 오폐수정화공법에 도입시켰다. 토양성균군을 배양시키기 위한 토양조건과 유사한 환경을 조성하기 위해 토탄 또는 부식토와 규산분이 함유되어 있고 다공질인 경성, 제어라이트, 맥반석등의 쇄석을 충진시킨 용기에 통기상태의 공기를 공급하면서 유기성 스러지와 접촉 반응시키면 토양성균군이 배양된다. 배양된 토양성균군이 포함된 스러지를 배양조에서 침전스러지와 지속적으로 통기상태에서 접촉시키면 토양성균군이 배양증식되고 배양증식된 스러지를 오폐수의 유입지점과 폭기반응조에 반송시켜 통기성 상태의 폭기만으로 토양성균군은 지속적으로 배양증식되며 동시에 토양성균군이 배설하는 대사산물과 오폐수중에 용해되어 있는 유기물이 결합, 응집, 중축함등 복합적인 물리화학적반응을 이르켜 고액분리화되어 진다. 고액분리화된 오폐수를 침전조에서 침강 분리시키므로서 상등액은 3차처리효과의 처리수를 확보할 수 있고 탈수스러지는 소화처리를 하지 않아도 안정화되어 있어 토양환원과 재활용이 가능한 완벽한 오폐수를 처리하는 방법과 그 장치이다.Natural soil, especially humus, has a circuit in which the humus itself corrodes organic matter.
