Abstract

본 발명은 디지탈 복호 시스템에서의 비터비 디코딩 방법에 관한 것으로, 이 비터비 디코딩 방법은 전송 채널로부터 수신되는 데이타열의 가지 평가량(Branch Matrix)에 따라 디코딩하여 디코딩 연산량을 감소시키는 방법으로, 상기 수신되는 데이타열중에서 디코딩 수행이 실시간(Real Time) 처리가 가능하고, 수신기의 복호기측으로 수신되는 데이타를 저장할 수 있으며, 송신기의 부호기측에서의 메모리 용량을 고려하여 최적의 정확성을 가지기 위한 최적의 데이타 크기 (Truncation Length)를 기설정된 범위로 분할하여 각 섹션의 평가량을 산출하고, 산출된 평가량중에서 기설정된 생존자(Survivor) 갯수만큼만으로 디코딩하므로써 디코딩 연산량을 감소시킬 수가 있다.

제3도는 본 발명에 따른 개선된 비터비 디코딩 방법을 예시하는 도면.

Claims (1)

  1. 전송 채널로부터 수신되는 데이타열의 가지 평가량(Branch Matrix)에 따라 디코딩하여 디코딩 연산량을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서, 상기 수신되는 데이타열중에서 디코딩 수행이 실시간(Real Time) 처리가 가능하고, 수신기의 복호기측으로 수신되는 데이타를 저장할 수 있으며, 송신기의 부호기측에서의 메모리 용량을 고려하여 최적의 정확성을 가지기 위한 최적의 데이타 크기(Truncation Length)를 기설정된 범위로 분할하여 각 섹션의 평가량을 산출하고, 산출된 평가량중에서 기설정된 생존자(Survivor) 갯수만큼으로 디코딩하는 방법.
