Abstract
본 발명은 평판표시장치의 패널과 기판간을 접속하는 신규한 패널커넥터를 개시한다.The present invention discloses a novel panel connector for connecting between a panel and a substrate of a flat panel display device.
패널에는 화소구동을 위해 다수의 전극들이 인출되어 전극패드를 구성하는데 이들을 기판에 접속시키기 위해 커넥터가 사용된다. 그런데 전극의 수가 늘어 피치가 감소되면 전극간에 간섭과 구동노이즈가 발생된 패널의 고밀도화에 장애가 되었다.In the panel, a plurality of electrodes are drawn out for pixel driving to form an electrode pad, and a connector is used to connect them to a substrate. However, when the number of electrodes increases and the pitch decreases, the interference between the electrodes and the driving noise caused a high density of the panel.
본 발명 커넥터상에 서로 반대방향으로 연장되는 두 그룹의 도전전극을 배열하고, 양 도전전극 그룹의 단부부분에 루우프를 형성하여 접속면을 구성함으로써 패널의 고밀도화가 가능하게 하였다.(제4도)Two groups of conductive electrodes extending in opposite directions on the connector of the present invention are arranged, and loops are formed at the end portions of both conductive electrode groups to form a connection surface.
