Abstract
본 발명은 평판표시장치의 패널과 기판간을 접속하는 신규한 접속구조를 개시한다.The present invention discloses a novel connection structure for connecting between a panel and a substrate of a flat panel display.
패널에는 화소구동을 위해 다수의 전극들이 인출되어 전극패드를 구성하는데 이들을 기판에 접속시키기 위해 커넥터가 사용된다. 그런데 전극의 수간 늘어 피치가 감소되면 전극간에 간섭과 구동노이즈가 발생되어 패널의 고밀도화에 장애가 되었다.In the panel, a plurality of electrodes are drawn out for pixel driving to form an electrode pad, and a connector is used to connect them to a substrate. However, as the number of electrodes increases and the pitch decreases, interference and driving noise are generated between the electrodes, which impedes a high density of the panel.
본 발명에서는 절연막이 전극들의 노출되는 접속위치가 서로 다르도록 적층됨으로써 인접전극들을 서로 전기적으로 분리함으로써 패널의 고밀도화 및 신뢰성 향상을 달성하였다.In the present invention, the insulating film is laminated so that the exposed positions of the electrodes are different from each other, thereby electrically separating adjacent electrodes from each other, thereby achieving high density and improved reliability of the panel.
